Production assistant – Lancaster

Location: Lancaster

Responsibilities: –

  • Be a point of contact for the status of equipment in the workshop
  • Promote a positive QHSE culture
  • Inspection and testing of equipment
  • Input all necessary job cards, maintenance, build record data to Simpro
  • Effective management of all stock movements
  • Control of equipment upgrades and modifications
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of site work
  • Collection and drop off of equipment to suppliers
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external suppliers as required
  • Contribute to the positive development of OTAQ Group, it’s processes and procedures

Other tasks to be performed as/when instructed by the Production Manager. Including but not limited to:

  • Building up kits for our site teams, working from a Bill of Materials (B.O.M)
  • Assisting Production Manufacture with product lifecycle management
  • Performing stock checks/counts


Requirements: –

To be considered for this role, you must hold a suitable technical or vocational qualification or have relevant experience. In addition, training will be provided on our in-house production equipment and maintenance system.

Salary: –

This is a full-time working role with based on 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm. Salary to be discussed.
